Upgrading Pallet Protection with Fully Enclosed Packaging
In many manufacturing logistics operations, pallets are usually wrapped around the sides with stretch film, while the top remains exposed. During transportation or storage, rain, dust or humidity may affect the product packaging.
The top sheet wrapping machine adds an automatic top covering function to traditional pallet wrapping, forming a fully enclosed packaging structure and improving product protection during transport and storage.

Solving the Top Protection Gap
In many logistics operations, only the sides of pallets are wrapped while the top remains uncovered. When pallets are loaded outdoors or temporarily stored, rain or dust may directly affect product packaging.
The machine automatically detects pallet height. After completing side wrapping, the top sheet device places film on the pallet top, and subsequent wrapping secures the film around the pallet to form a complete protective package.
Automation Reduces Manual Operations
In traditional packaging methods, additional top protection often requires manual film placement followed by secondary wrapping. This increases labor intensity and slows down packaging efficiency.
The top sheet wrapping machine integrates side wrapping and top covering into one automatic process. Controlled by a PLC system, the equipment automatically performs height detection, top covering and wrapping operations, reducing manual intervention and improving packaging consistency.
Improving Stability During Transportation
Industries such as chemicals, building materials and beverages often transport palletized goods over long distances with multiple loading and unloading operations. Incomplete packaging structures may lead to loose tops or damaged packaging.
With a power pre-stretch film carriage, the machine maintains uniform film tension during wrapping. The stretch ratio can reach approximately 1:2.5, ensuring tight and stable packaging while reducing film consumption.
Suitable for Various Palletized Products
Top sheet wrapping machines are widely used in chemical, electronics, electrical appliances, food, beverage, paper and building material industries, especially where complete packaging protection is required.
For products transported in containers or stored outdoors, adding top film protection can effectively reduce environmental impact on packaging. As logistics packaging standards continue to improve, integrated top sheet wrapping systems are becoming an important upgrade direction for pallet packaging.
