Rotary Arm Stretch Wrapping Machine for High-Stack Pallet Packaging

In actual packaging operations, some palletized loads are tall, top-heavy, or structurally unstable, making them unsuitable for turntable rotation. Forced rotation may cause shaking or load displacement during wrapping, affecting safety. For such pallet loads, a wrapping method that keeps the load stationary is a more appropriate choice.

The wrapping machines drives the film carriage around the pallet via a rotating arm, completing stretch film wrapping while the pallet remains stationary. During operation, the arm moves in a circular path around the pallet, and the film carriage moves up and down synchronously, enabling continuous film coverage from the bottom to the top of the load, forming an even outer wrapping layer.

The machine is typically equipped with a pre-stretch film carriage system that pre-stretches the film at a fixed ratio, maintaining stable tension during wrapping. After application, the film retracts and tightens, enhancing overall load stability and ensuring more uniform film distribution. Wrapping turns and reinforcement zones can be adjusted according to pallet height to meet different packaging requirements.

The rotary arm stretch wrapping machine is designed to accommodate different pallet sizes, with configurable arm rotation radius and film carriage lifting stroke. For pallets with varying heights, the machine can automatically detect height ranges via sensors, ensuring smooth wrapping and reducing manual intervention.

This type of equipment is commonly installed at warehouse dispatch stations or at the end of production lines for centralized pallet wrapping.
